When to Visit?

Winter is freezing cold, yet it has it’s own beauty and Summer is quite rainy yet it will give you an another different experiences. All depend on your favour to discover Tibet.

  • Yet, we would like to suggest you to visit central Tibet throughout year if you do not have plan for trekking and biking though the most favourable weather is from April to November.

  • In the Eastern parts, you can pay visit during April to November and particularly from May to September.

Note: We specifically suggest you to bring a couple of warmer clothes even in the mid of Summer as you never know what is lying ahead in this adventurous region.

How to avoid Acute High Altitude Disease (AHAD)?

  • Drink lots of water to keep you away from dehydration during your stay in the plateau

  • Avoid carrying heavy stuffs, shower and outdoor activities when you just arrived

  • Avoid smoking and drinking hard liquors during acclimating

  • AHAD is common to all the visitors by air/ train/ land therefore care should be taken by all
