Tibetan Shaman festival is a folk religious activity since 1400 years ago. Genuinely, Lurol is the Tibetan word, which in English is enjoying the Nagas and it is being celebrated from 16th June to 25th July (based on Chinese calendar) as an annual activity.
Tibet Shaman’s festival considered to be the most interested one. People in the villages conduct important ceremony which honors the local mountain god and asks for the good health of the villagers and a good harvest season for the year.
Note: If your arrival time is different from others and you don’t want to wait for the free shuttle bus, then we can arrange private airport pick up/transfer for additional cost CNY400. It is free for train station pick up / transfer. Please let us know your arrival time and detail information of flights/train.

Our representative would greet you at either airport or train station and install you at your hotel. Please take care of good health and take time to adjust with the environment.

You will be picked up from your hotel and drive to Kumbum Monastery (Chi: Ta’er Si) in the morning. After a thorough visit, we will drive to Rebgong (Chi: Tongren).

Tibet Shaman’s festival is being held in respective villages and monasteries nearby the town. Since Rebkong (the famous and home to Tibet traditional arts, Thangka Painting) is also popular for Tibetan shamanism, we will drive to Langya villages to explore Tibet shaman’s festival.

In the morning, we will drive to Sakyi village and enjoy a different Tibet shaman’s festival there. Again enjoy the festival near the Ringwu Monastery in the town.

This day we will explore Tibetan traditional arts, Thangka painting in Seng-ge Shong monasteries. These places are the most famous for Tibetan thangka painting all through Tibet. We will return to Xining early afternoon and drop at the hotel.
