Our guide will receive you and deliver you to your accommodation in Lhasa City. Remember that you are in the world plateau, so it is important to take it easy as much as you excited to explore around. Take very good rest, sleep and drink plenty of water to avoid altitude sickness, dehydration and jet-lag.

Get ready after your breakfast at hotel to sneak in the real mystery of Lhasa, “Place of God’. You will be escorting towards majestic Potala Palace, mystic Jokhang Temple, hustling bustling Barkhor Street and Ramoche Monastery by our fluent English speaking and knowledgeable tour guide.

Today you will be arranged to visit Drepung and Sera Monasteries. Both Drepung and Sera monasteries are Gelugpa (yellow hat) sect monastic colleges. Drepung monastery was the seat of the Government prior to Potala, it was once the world’s largest monastery in the history with 10,000 monks hailed from different monasteries all over Tibet. Sera monastery is famous for its Buddhism philosophical debate practice.

Trip continues to Shigatse, where the successive Penchen Lama’s monastery, Tashi Lhunpo is located. You will be visiting great view of Yamdrok Lake, Karola glacier and Gyangtse Pekor stupa at Gyantse on the way to Shigatse. By the time you reach to Shigatse, it would be already evening view. Take a good rest for the next morning to venture in Tashi Lhunpo Monastery.

Tashi Lhunpo Monastery is located in the lap of Dolma ri. It is the second largest Tibetan Buddhist Monastery in Tibetan Autonomous Region (TAR) as well as it is known as one of the biggest monasteries Gelugpa Sect (Yellow Hat). You will be heading back to Lhasa, after learning it’s culture, aged old infrastructures and stories of every temples inside the monastery. You will drive along the Yarlung Tsangpo and different landscapes. You will also observe many Tibetan villages all the way Lhasa. After all these non-stop excitement, you will be transferred to your cozy hotel.
