Our guide will be greeting you at airport/ train station and transfer you to. Now, you are at in the holy city Lhasa yet we suggest you to drink lots of water and take a good rest at your hotel room to avoid altitude sickness and dehydration. Adventures are lying head so get prepared!
Overnight:Lhasa
In the morning, you are visiting the cultural heritage Potala Palace which is built in 7th century and later rebuilt by 5th Dalai Lama. After lunch, pay visit to the holiest temple in Tibet, the Johkang Temple, built during king Songtsen Gonpo’s reign by princess Wencheng and its famous Barkor Street, where you can appreciate traditional Tibetan artifacts, religious implements, antiques, books, Tibetan music instrument, Thangkas, tradition Tibetan clothes and ritual activities around.
Overnight:Lhasa
After breakfast, we will to visit Drepung Monastery, which is situated at the foothill of a mountain and was founded by Jamyang Choeje in 1416. It was once home for 10000 monks. Drepung has became famous since after Gaden Podrang was initiated there by 5th Dalai Lama until the administration shifted to Potala Palace. After having lunch, trip continues to visit the Sera Monastery, which was founded in 1419 by Tsongkapa’s disciple Jamchen Choeje. The most interesting of this monastery is Buddhist monks’ debate in the afternoons at their courtyard.
Overnight: Lhasa
You will travel from Lhasa to Yamdrok Lake, one of Tibet’s holiest and most beautiful lakes. The 7200m Mt. Nojing Gangsang can be seen in the distance. After visiting the lake, you will drive to the mid-sized town of Gyantse via Karola glacier. Gyantse, elevation 3950m, is famous for its massive hilltop military fort and for the Pelkor Chode Monastery, which has the tallest Tibetan Buddhist stupa in Tibet.
Overnight: Shigatse
After crossing beautiful rivers and mountains for almost 6 hours, we will be at Rongbuk Monastery. During the elevation over 5000 meters, we can catch a glimpse of 4 majestic mountain peaks as Mt. Lhotse 8516m, Mt. Everest 8848m, Mt. Qowo O-yag 8201m, & Mt. Makalu 8463m.
Overnight: Tent Guesthouse, Rongbuk Monastery
The day starts early in the morning, so we can enjoy the sunrise over the top of Mt. Everest. Then, we prepare for a 1-2 hour trek to the base camp. Everest Base Camp is really a spectacular place, so be ready to embrace all it has to offer. We will then set out for Shigatse, but not before having lunch at Rongbuk.

Namtso Lake means in Tibetan as ‘Sky lake’ which is considered as a sacred in Tibet. It is known as the world highest salty lake and it considered to be as a sacred. There are continuous pilgrims all the year round at this lake area. Enjoy the night’s cool breeze and peace.

On the way back to Lhasa, we are visiting a nomad family to experience the yak wool tent and little more about the Plateau’s nomadic lifestyle.
